Membership

You can become part of our community by getting a membership at MakerLabs. Membership is month-to-month and gives you access to our makerspace. Members receive discounts on services, classes, and materials. Registration can be done online or in person at the front desk. We suggest taking a Safety & Orientation class prior to registering for membership.

Please note that members may be subject to a background/reference check before obtaining membership to MakerLabs.

Weekend Maker Membership

$100 / month

• Saturday & Sunday access, from Noon to 9pm. *

• Access to MakerLabs' tools and workshops**

• $30 off tool orientation classes and workshops

• DIY CNC machine time (laser cutter, CNC router, etc.) at $1.50/minute.

Extended hours Maker Membership

$265 / month (includes a Maker Membership)

• Seven days a week, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, access to MakerLabs

*Does not include fob access. Any Monday to Friday access would be at the Drop-in rate, or require an upgrade to a Maker Membership.
**Use of MakerLabs' tools require tool-specific orientation classes at additional cost.
***Members are required to pay a $50 door fob deposit which is refunded when your membership expires.
****24/7 Makers are accepted on a case-by-case basis, after 3 months of Maker Membership. For consideration, please email hello@makerlabs.com.

Drop-In Maker

Seven days a week, 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm

• WoodLab or MetalLab*
  $45 / day

• TextileLab, ElectronicsLab, DesignLab, or CeramicsLab*
  $30 / day

• LaserLab, CNC Router or Plotter*
  $2 / min

• Fibre Laser*
  $15 / 30 mins

• Welding*
  $10 / hour

• 3D Printing*
  $2/printing hour, minimum $5 charge
