From woodworking, ceramics, laser cutting, CNC, or anything in between, we have a variety of fun activities to inspire creativity, encourage communication, and strengthen bonds among team members.

    Handmade Candle Holder

    In this accessible and fun workshop, turn a piece of hardwood into an elegant centrepiece.

    $85 per person, minimum 5 people or $425.

    2-3 hours.

    Simple Charcuterie Board

    Your team will learn to cut and mill raw hardwood into stunning and functional charcuterie boards. Board will be finished off with a custom laser engraving. Create great memories with your team in this workshop.

    $95 per person, minimum 5 people or $475.

    Giant Jenga

    Smell the sweet smell of sawdust in this giant jenga workshop. After learning to mill the blocks from slightly bigger blocks of wood, each attendee gets to engrave a block with a rule of their choice. This set can then be taken home to entertain the team for many evenings to come.

    $65 per person, minimum 5 people or $325.

    Cutting Board

    A full day deep dive into all things woodshop. Learn how to make a custom cutting board from scratch.

    $175 per person, minimum 4 people or $700.

    6-8 hours (Class may be longer for larger groups).

    CNC Desktop Organizer

    Need to organize your desk? Look no further! In this workshop you'll get a chance to operate the CNC router and laser engraver to create a functional and personalized piece.

    $80 per person, minimum 5 people or $400.

  • Three wooden coasters with engraved designs: one with a floral vase, another with a map, and the third with wedding details and initials 'S & Z'.

    Laser Cut Coasters

    Great for small or larger groups! Demonstrations will be done on how the laser works and individuals will sketch a design by hand to be digitized and engraved on a coaster. Also includes a tour of MakerLabs.

    $60 per person, minimum of 5 people or $300.

  • Smartphone in a MakerLabs wooden stand

    Cellphone Stand

    This workshop is great for small or larger groups (up to 25 people). In this workshop, get a basic overview on how the laser cutter works, and use it to customize a cellphone stand. Everyone will get a chance to personalize their piece, and assemble all the cut pieces into a finished project.

    $50 per person, minimum of 5 people or $250.

    Laser Cut Desktop Organizer

    Got too much stuff on your desk? Scissors? Pens? That pesky yet adorable succulent? With your team, come in and make this multifunctional desktop organizer- and engrave your own custom slogan on the front!

    $75 per person, minimum 5 people or $375.

    2-3 hours. Class may be longer for larger groups.

    Painting Laser Cut Puzzle Pieces

    Have fun connecting with your team as you customize your own unique laser cut puzzle piece! Paint your piece with the design that you’d like and watch the team come together, just like the puzzle pieces. Great for large groups.

    $60 perperson, minimum of 5 people or $300.

    2.5 Hours (Class may be longer for larger groups)

  • Ceramic pottery on a table with a rectangular tray, a small square dish, and a small jug in blue with black leaf patterns. Nearby are plastic cups, a painted bottle, clay blocks, and other pottery tools.

    Ceramic Sushi Set

    In this class, students will make a sushi set including a plate, soy sauce dish, and chopsticks holder out of clay. Participants will learn some basics about handbuilding with clay, build their sushi set, and then paint it with underglaze. After the class, staff will fire the work, and students will be notified via email when their work is ready to pick-up.

    $95 per person, minimum 4 people or $380.
